Every student at Pershing has the right to a free and public education in a safe and caring environment. All students have the right to learn. When these very important rights are taken away or threatened, the staff will act to protect students and their rights. At Pershing, students work hard to achieve their goals, become academically proficient, and take their place as successful citizens of the world.
We believe that every person on campus needs to work hard, have goals and dreams, do the right thing, and contribute to making the world a better place. Pershing's discipline code is intended to protect the rights of our students by stating many of those behaviors that may be illegal, or threaten the rights of others. We follow the San Diego Unified School District's policies and procedures and ensure that all students have a safe environment in which to learn.
